I just started a new watercolor sketchbook, these are the first pages. Very meditative to paint owls on a whole page, sometimes that’s all you need.

Work in progress, feels more important than ever. Here I am, filling my sketchbook with random owls. Studies show over and over again that working with your hands is good for your health, and especially your brain. It relieves depression, anxiety and stress, among other things. Working with your hands, compared to other parts of the body, where there are many sensory cells, helps the brain to understand complex connections in the future. Pressing a few buttons to get an image through AI gives you an image that is based on stolen art, and you also miss out on the whole process that is important and good for us.
Pick up a pen, a guitar, a screwdriver or a crochet hook. Do yourself and the world a favor ✨🙏🏻
